A few days later Naomi, begins talking to Jevon again and ultimately decides to marry the father of her first child. Once the two are married, Naomi finds out she is pregnant again, with Ray’s child. Jevon doesn’t seem to mind, he is there to support Naomi. When she finally goes into labor, Jevon takes Naomi to the hospital. During the many hours she was in labor, the doctor informs Naomi that she’s not having one child, she’s having two! Jevon is not discouraged and he treats the two new arrivals as his own. And so Lee and Chad were born.

And so the once homeless family has finally found a new home and is now looking into the future. Now Naomi and new hubby Jevon have to figure out how to balance their own jobs with three young children. Luckily enough, Anna has now retired and lives with the couple. Her dreams of expanding her family just seems to keep getting better and better, even though the new generation is a confusing mixture, they will be raised as if Jevon is their father. Anna stares happily at the new children and wishes that she had more time, but she can feel that it won’t be long before she herself dies of old age, but the knowledge that her daughter has Jevon to look after her comforts Anna’s concerns.

Chapter 5: Expanding

Child Naomi

The years fly by and it seems as if Naomi has almost skipped her childhood years, although her grades stayed high, which kept her parents very happy.

Naomi Studying

In her teen years Naomi is able to continue with her excellent school performance and begins to be represented on the Honor Roll.

After exploring the catacombs

She is also able to get out and enjoy herself for the first time, although her first trip out, a curious exploration of the catacombs, lands her out after curfew and she is escorted home by the police.

Arrested!

Naomi also finds her first boyfriend in high school and is able to enjoy her first kiss with Rico Cottoneye.

First kiss

Not long after Naomi began dating her first boyfriend, her beloved father died of old age. Naomi’s good friend Ray, Rico’s brother, supports her through this hard time, after Rico declined to come see her after her father’s death.

Even through their heartbreak, Naomi and Anna were able to build a wonderful family cemetery to place their father’s remains. On his gravestone, they wrote “Lee Labell-Who will always be missed.”

Anna also had another birthday and was heartbroken at the sight of her new gray hair, so she began dying her hair, to ensure a more youthful look.

Naomi decided it was time to leave Rico behind, especially after he fail to support her in her time of need, so she meet up with him to break off their relationship. Rico was heartbroken, but somehow Anna felt relieved (she had learned that Rico had commitment issues, the hard way).

Breaking up with Rico

With all this newly found drama in their lives, Anna and Naomi are ready to move on, and one of the first things they choose to do is build a new house. Lee’s memory is too strong in the old house and they feel like they could use a lot more space, so they build a five bedroom home with one bathroom, a dining room, a nice roomy kitchen, and a living room with a connecting study, and (most exciting to the girls) a front and back porch!

Anna is ecstatic about the new house and finds herself daydreaming about the future. Maybe her dream of many generations down the road using this same house may come through and she feels calm and happy with her new revelation.

Chapter 4: Growing Up

Baby Naomi

With a new baby in the house Anna and Lee try to find new ways to make money. Anna constantly works at getting promotions at work and any side jobs she is able to do in her free time. She also continues her garden and painting which allows her to make a small amount of money to take care of the family.

Lee works in the journalism career and writes on the side on occasion, but he has also learned that his guitar skills allow him the chance to make a small fee, so he often practices or goes to the parks or other public places to play for tips.

As life goes on it seems that the years just fly by and before they know it Anna and Lee have a new toddler! Anna was worried for a while about Naomi’s hair because as a toddler she had none, but it slowly grew in and was quite cute.

Naomi has grown and has become quite a handful. These parents have their hands full with potty training and teaching Naomi to talk and walk.

Although they enjoy their young child, the Labell’s are looking forward to watching her grow and change and the thought of her one day starting her own family keeps them very excited!

Chapter 3: Married Life

Anna enjoys her first night as a married woman sleeping in a double bed with her new hubby. Finally a good nights sleep!

The following day Lee heads off to get a job in journalism and then heads to the library to work on his very first book.

While he is off practicing his writing, Anna uses this time to workout in preparation for her next workday, hoping to gain a raise.

After working on his new book, "A Secret Moment," for a while Lee needs some fun to relieve some stress so he buys a new guitar and plays it for all of the people hanging out in the library, he attracts quite a group enjoying his performance. Once he has calmed his nerves he quickly takes a bathroom break and a snack then he returns to his book. Once his book is finished he sends it off and quickly finds that it is a flop. Although he is discouraged by this information, he looks forward to the income, although small, and plans to write another, better book. This second book he plans to be a biography of a woman in the neighborhood. This book is entitled "An Amy Story." Lee hopes to have better luck with this new attempt.

Anna cleans up and heads off to work for the day. When she heads out for the evening she is given a new promotion and a nice amount of money, with this she adds more rooms to the house and now has a bathroom and a bedroom.

After all of the hard work on their new home Anna and Lee relax on the bed for some alone time. Some sweet cuddling leads to some more tender moments and then the two rest for the night. The next day Anna stay at home sleeping and she seems to be having some reaction to their cheap meals.

While Anna is in a dead sleep she has a strange dream and when she wakes up she realizes that her odd sickness and exhaustion might mean that she is pregnant. A test confirms this revelation and Anna is ecstatic. Although she has been sick all day, her mood is soaring. She never expected motherhood to have such a wonderful effect on her.

After informing her employer of her new pregnancy, Anna is given a few days off to prepare for the new addition. So the next morning she and Lee head to the library. Lee works on his new book and Anna studies gardening to possibly help the family by beginning her own garden.

Anna improves her gardening skills a bit and then she heads out to find and collect seeds that can possibly grow free food for her and Lee. She is able to find a few and heads home to plant them and care for them.

That night Anna and Lee head out for a nice dinner and a much enjoyed alone time before the new baby arrives.

The next day Anna's belly is so huge, she can't help but be amused so she takes a few pictures of the patruding hulk and even plays around in her bathing suit because it looks so huge in her suit.

Anna leaves the next morning to search for more seeds and realizes that something is wrong. Her whole body hurts and there is this amazingly horrible pain coming from her belly. She immediately heads off to the hospital, where Lee soon follows.

A while later, at 12:56AM Anna and Lee are informed that they have a new beautiful baby girl, who they name Naomi.

Baby Naomi so far is very friendly and easily impressed. Anna and Lee are very excited about their new addition and quickly head home to begin their family!

Chapter 2: New Beginings

Anna began her third day in her new hometown starting a new routine. She decided she would exercise early to prepare for her new career, so she jogs from her “bed” either at the stadium or at the Azalea Acres Community Garden to the gym, where she showers and uses the facilities.

Anna received a call from the newspaper boy saying that her lot was overflowing with old papers, so she rushes over to clean up her lot. After cleaning up, Anna has a quick breakfast and then it’s off to meet the neighbors. Anna wants to have many new friends in her new hometown, and getting out and meeting people may help her find the love of her life.

Her first excursion locates a young man named Matthew Jennings, who she finds extremely cute and he seems perfect, a neat guy with a sense of humor, but the next day she goes to visit him at his home (where he lives with another young male) she finds out that he is dating someone. Although her dreams of a wonderful life with this sweet handsome guy are crushed, Anna chooses to continue a friendship with him. It’s worth having someone you can talk to sometimes, right?

The next day she visits a guy from work and finds out that he is rich and married. Although Anna is attracted to some suitors, she has decided she would rather not match up with a rich man. She believes that they have a different view on life than she does and it would be easier to introduce a man in the same financial class she is in, either dating a poor or lower middle class guy, into her impoverished lifestyle. No rich guys.

After visiting with her coworker, Anna heads to work, where she is given a raise for reading a book her boss suggested would help her out. She is also promoted to Snack Hawker, which means she now dredges through the bleachers during games selling drinks and snacks to fans. Well, at least yelling, “Hot dogs! Get your hot dogs!” is an improvement on being a go-for.

She is exhausted after a hard days work and wonders into a neighbors home where she briefly chats with the neighbor. The elder woman is nice enough to allow Anna to use her bathtub and offers her a bed before she leaves for the night, but she doesn't tell her husband about their new visitor and Anna is kicked back out on the streets.

That night she sleeps at the stadium and wakes up bright and early on the next day, which is her day off. Anna visits the juice bar where she meets a nice young man named Lee Chung. After chatting for quite a while, Anna asks Lee if he’s single. He is. He is unemployed and seems like a nice guy.

The next day, Anna is very excited about meeting Lee again and today she decides to profess her love for him. It seems fast, but she seems to have fallen in love overnight. Lee agrees and they decided to go on and get married in a private ceremony. Lee, it turns out, also had a shady past and has a very strained relationship with his own father and so he chooses to take her last name.

The new family member brings in a few more funds and Anna is able to build a small house for the two of them on her lot. Anna now has a bed, a toilet, and a shower within a tiny shack with cheap floors and wallpaper, but it's home!!
